Discovering Hotel Dorer was a delightful surprise. Nestled in the scenic Black Forest, it whisks you into a nostalgic atmosphere. The cosy ambiance, reminiscent of a bygone era, pairs with contemporary comforts like a heated indoor swimming pool, perfect for unwinding after exploring the picturesque hiking trails. Our junior suite, featuring a lovely terrace, was impeccably clean and spacious, with sweeping valley views. A welcome bottle of sparkling wine added a nice touch, illustrating their attention to detail. Dining was on the pricier side, but the Michelin-worthy seasonal menu made it worth every penny. Not to mention, breakfast was a hearty start to the day. If you're balancing luxury with value, Hotel Dorer certainly fits the bill—solid amenities, warm hospitality, and stunning surroundings make it an enticing choice for any UK traveller looking to indulge without breaking the bank.
