Discovering Hotel Dorer was a delightful surprise. Nestled in the scenic Black Forest, it whisks you into a nostalgic atmosphere. The cosy ambiance, reminiscent of a bygone era, pairs with contemporary comforts like a heated indoor swimming pool, perfect for unwinding after exploring the picturesque hiking trails. Our junior suite, featuring a lovely terrace, was impeccably clean and spacious, with sweeping valley views. A welcome bottle of sparkling wine added a nice touch, illustrating their attention to detail. Dining was on the pricier side, but the Michelin-worthy seasonal menu made it worth every penny. Not to mention, breakfast was a hearty start to the day. If you're balancing luxury with value, Hotel Dorer certainly fits the bill-solid amenities, warm hospitality, and stunning surroundings make it an enticing choice for any UK traveller looking to indulge without breaking the bank.
